Solo travel experience

Córdoba is a fantastic city to visit. It’s very varied and there’s a lot to do. I was in Córdoba for the start of the Feria which was amazing but probably a lot more fun if you’re with a group. I felt very safe walking around the city alone both during the day and night. If you’re going to be here for a few days and aren’t staying within five minutes walk of the Mezquita then pop up to the Plaza de Colón and get a tourist bus card. Really good value and it’s nice to be able to get the bus back for a siesta when you’ve got tired legs from walking all day! If you’re visiting the Mezquita (you must!) then also opt for the extra €3 to go up the tower - it’s an unbelievable view. Leave at least a few hours free in your itinerary to amble aimlessly around the cobbled streets. You’ll end up at a plaza at some point and can sit in the sun with a caña and a little tapas. Lovely. Don’t believe the hype! Better than Sevilla!

Couple travel experience

Cordoba is a great city. It's moderate in size but there is still a lot to do. During May there are a lot of festivities which you should definitely check out. A lot of museums, art, nice restaurants and activities. Always felt safe.
