Kraków it's my favorite city in Poland! I love the architecture and food. Oh the food is amazing 🤩 I love to spend time just walking around in old town and kazimierz. Kraków is a little bit expensive but not too much. I never experienced robbery or something like that. I always feel safe in Krakow. The public transport is really good working. I stay in private room with shared bathroom and it was okay. I really recommend visiting Krakow.

I love Krakow. I've been in Poland before. It's a safe place to go out and get home safely. You can attend to free guided tours. You can walk to see the historical places. The weather was so nice but you should still bring some hoodies with you. Krakow is a cheap place there are a lot pf froigner students here. It's a perfect place to have fun thanks to the great clubs
Posted: April 18, 2024Experienced: March, 2024Love this city, I have been here many times and always the food and culinary experience is impressive and a good value for money. I highly recommend to visit this city. For cultural experience the Salt mines and Auschwitz is also very interesting to see.
Posted: March 10, 2024There are lots of amazing historical sights and a cute bunny cafe I recommend. I felt safe all hours of the day and I spent 3 days walking around eating amazing food and taking tours. I recommend all of Poland for a solo trip. It's safe and affordable.
Posted: February 13, 2024Experienced: June, 2023Krakow became one of my favorite cities. The highlights I recommend visiting: 1. Wawel Castle and Wawel Cathedral 2. St. Mary’s Basilica 3. Auschwitz Concentration Camp (it is very sad, but worth visiting) 4. Old Town Square 5. Jewish Quarter 6. Sukiennice (cloth hall)
Posted: February 6, 2024I had a really nice time in Kraków, Poland. I went in 2017 for 4 days with a group of girls from my study abroad experience. We had so much fun that weekend and I even recall Sunday night (obviously pre pandemic) being action packed. We had went on a bar crawl and the food was so much good. I’d recommend this city to anyone.
Posted: January 27, 2024Poland is in my opinion a super safe country to travel, everyone I met there was nice and kind, food is great, not a expensive country and many interesting places to visit. Near Krakow you can visit Auschwitz and Wieliczka mine.
Posted: January 24, 2024I loved Krakow. I felt safe, even during group "pub crawl" until the early morning hours. I participated in a free sightseeing walk and visited Auschwitz, Salt Mine, Wawel Castle and Schindler's Museum.
Posted: October 22, 2023I went to Krakow by myself in January and it was my first ever solo trip. I was 19 years old and I never felt unsafe for a moment. I went on a trip to Auschwitz with GetYourGuide and took part in a free city walk. I also went on a pub crawl, which was very spontaneous, but I had a great time and never felt unsafe. People were very nice and friendly.

Krakow is a city that you can feel safe at any time :) sometimes there are drunk people around but it doesn’t change the general attitude of the city. Using public transportation is also safe people are quiet and respectful.
Posted: May 13, 2024Extremely safe! you can easily walk alone in the evening, use public transportation. I have friends from all around the world being surprised how safe they feel In Krakow and Poland in general. Obviously it’s worth being safe and cautious everywhere, but Poland overall is safe.

In my opinion, Krakow is a great place to visit! 🌇Beautiful architecture and lots of greenery around. Additionally, everything is surrounded by the city's long and beautiful history. 🐉Many legends that can be heard about the surrounding places. You can relax by walking along the Vistula River or go for a bike ride. 🚲🌳 In Krakow, both near the Main Square and in Kazimierz, you can find great places to eat well, below I will leave some restaurant recommendations 🥗🌮🍕🥟. A good application for getting around the city is Jakdojade, where you can find information on how to get where, from which stop and also buy a ticket. 🚌 I always feel good and safe in Krakow, whether on buses or in taxis. Krakow is super cozy historic city. Really safe for woman. In the night im not afraiding about anything. Most of Poland cities giving the same trust. Most of the stuff you should do in Old Town area. There's plenty of things that you can do in there. There is beautiful places around there for food also. For great food and nigthlife im also recommending Kazimierz. Everyone should try Zapiekanki in Kazimierz's Plac Nowy. Public transport is not expensive great for seeing most of the places in Krakow.
